How to get to Karise for Dummy’s Cool

You probably fly to Copenhagen (Købehavn).

Altogether you have to change trains twice: Kastrup Airport - København - Køge - Karise.

There you take the train to København H. at Kastrup Airport, all is clearly indicated.

You will need between half and one hour to get to København H.

The ticket to Karise, you can buy in the hall, where you also find the escalators to the platforms. Price about 100kr. Whether they take €, I do not know. There are also ticket vending machines with possible English.

Take the right side of the platform here, otherwise you end up in Sweden.Laughing

In
København H:

At CopenhagenFrom the train you can always go in two directions on the platform, just follow the crowed: to the station building. I believe that is in the same direction as the train was arriving.

From
København H.  to Køge.

Up the escalators and go left.

IF YOU ARE IN KØBENHAVN START TO READ
HERE!

Walk to the (almost) end and go left down to platform 11/12.

The trains are all red, unless they are covered with advertisement or graffiti.

Take the front of the train, either on the platform, when you hvae the time to do so, otherwise walk inside the train all the way to the front.
Inside the train you can just completely go through by using the sliding doors, which  you control with a little blue button on the door.
The reason to go to the front is, that you may only have 4 minutes in Køge, where you have to walk a little to another platform.

At KøgeIn Køge:

Walk in the arrival direction of the train, past a little building and take the stairs, on the left of the elevators.
Down the stairs, go right and up the stairs again at platform 2.

Sometimes the train is at the same platform, mostly at platform 2.

The train to Karise is a pretty new red and blue (sometimes gray / yellow).

There is usually ½ hour schedule, sometimes 1 hour, depending on weekends or not.

When you arrive at Karise a 10 minutes walk brings you to my house.

There is a very important thing! Be in the right train for Karise.

You need to have the one, with Faxe Ladeplads on the front.

It is also in the train on the display at the ceiling.

'Næste station
Karise' is the sign for you to get out.

Everyone speaks English, so, ask if not sure, it will cost you approximately one hour, if you're in the wrong train.Cry
On weekends even 2 hours. On the other hand, you'll get some countryside-seeing.

In Karise:

It's a 10 minute walk.

Click here to find the route to my place. It opens in google maps, in a new window.

Please print the map. It happens all the time that people do not find my house, although it is absolutely very easy, even in the dark.
